North Shore Give
As president of this 501(c)(3) community foundation (originally the Kauai North Shore Community Foundation, est. 2012), Stefan led a comprehensive rebrand, hired the foundation’s first executive director, and expanded its mission. North Shore Give connects nonprofits, donors, and community organizations from Ha’ena to Anahola to address challenges in healthcare, education, and community resilience.

Gift of Health Campaign
A five-year initiative to provide essential medical equipment to Makana North Shore Urgent Care — the only urgent care facility on the remote North Shore. In 2025, the campaign’s first milestone was reached: a $75,000 ultrasound machine, fully funded by community donations, was delivered and put into immediate use. Staff received specialized POCUS training.

Namahana School Initiative
North Shore Give was the driving force behind securing approval from the Hawaii State Public Charter School Commission to build Namahana School in Kilauea — giving North Shore families access to a public charter middle and high school for the first time.

North Shore Give Week
An eight-day celebration uniting 25+ nonprofits across the North Shore. From beach cleanups and highway maintenance to movie nights, fitness events, and community meals — bringing neighbors together to highlight and support the organizations that serve them.

Annual Charity Auction & Gala
Raising $100,000+ annually through online auctions and an in-person gala, with proceeds directed to education, health and wellness, and disaster preparedness initiatives across the North Shore.
